All the items are fully artisanal and handmade. Every piece you see here is patiently and lovingly handcrafted by a small team of artisans. Please understand that handmade goods are never ‘perfect’. Slight imperfections are to be expected, no two pieces will ever be exactly alike you will find that every piece varies subtly in terms of color and metal finish. These ‘flaws’ are rather imperfections that make each piece unique and beautiful. Oxidizing is a chemical process often used to give a darker ‘antique’ or ‘vintage’ effect on metal. This finish may also wear or rub off over time. Jewellery is precious and you are responsible for its care. Jewellery is delicate and should be handled carefully. Protect it from chemicals (hair spray, perfume, nail polish remover, chlorine, detergents, lotions etc.) direct sunlight and objects that may damage or cause scratches or dents. Please note that wear and tear in the course of normal use is not considered a manufacturing fault. Do not swim or shower while wearing gold-plated or silver jewellery, and remove rings before washing your hands. Chlorine, salt water and fresh water can damage precious metals and gemstones by dulling or eroding them. Gold and silver are particularly susceptible to damage from chlorine, which can permanently damage or discolor them. Soapy water when bathing and showering can also leave a thin film, which makes the metal seem dull. Jewellery that is plated or with certain finishes applied may age over time. Stones and inclusions are delicate and may chip if not carefully worn. Rings and pendants may break or bend out of shape if mishandled. Crystal stones breaking from mishandling is not considered a manufacturing fault. Our jewelry may contain brass or tin alloy, copper, nickel, gold, silver, jet, copper, etc. Some people have allergies to some metals, most commonly nickel. Our special packaging as well “the black letter” is an handcrafted object made by hand folding thin metal sheets in order to add value giving a longer life to this item. Please don’t throw it away but save it as a second item strictly combined with your jewel. Due to the nature of the material of the envelope, handle it with care and out of the reach of children.
